This was our group’s preliminary task.

As I had never done Media before, this task taught me:

• How to use a video camera
• How to edit a video
• How long it takes to make a film
• How much preparation you need to make a film
• How to use match on action and the 180 degree rule

Through doing this task it will make me more able to complete our 2 minute film and create a better quality of a film overall.

Above was the ideas that me and my partner came up with for our film. How we came up with the list was we looked online at some typical scenes that come up in a heist film, as we are going to make a film with a heist in it then we thought that it was appropriate that we used some of the typical scenes such as balaclavas, a safe opening and someone who has been shot. We had some ideas about how we were going ti film the movie and what sort of scenes we wanted so we decided to make a list so that we could tick the things off as we did them.
